What I did on my Christmas Vacation

It was always dark (or crazy foggy) when we saw the cities, so you get stuck with the rest: an odd assortment of things that seemed cool or just plain amusing.

Steve — But, technology is our friend! Although, I don’t know about those people voluntarily getting I.D. chips implanted in their arms. That’s just not good.Sqt — I thought the same thing. I wanted to climb it. Theoretically, at least. In practice, it would’ve been some ungainly clinging to the branch whilst trying to haul my legs even a foot off the ground. And, yeah, it’s the having the picture taken that causes said expression. I’m not camera-friendly.

That looks like a good sittin’ tree. You look a lot like I do on vacation. I’m happy on the inside. Really. Or maybe it’s the reaction to having your picture taken. I hate that too.

Cool photos all the way round, and impressive use of that there tekno-loggy.I am *such* a luddite….

Thanks, Lana. The originals of the tree are a bit better (despite the fact I was hanging out of an SUV window taking them–hence the blurriness), but the slide show made them very pixelated.

Cool photos! I, too, loved the funky tree.

I loved that tree, too, Charles. In fact, I thought of you when I posted it because of some of your cool nature shots. Most of our photos are taken on the fly, and mostly by the Architect. Anything blurry or with a finger in it, that’s mine.

Love that “gnarly” tree. Very cool. Good images throughout, though.
